Baitak Capital, the investment arm of Kuwait Finance House (KFH), won six awards from the global Islamic Finance News (IFN) group, through its well-known publication, Islamic Finance News. The awards recognize several sukuk transactions arranged and successfully executed by the company, both regionally and globally, during the past year (2025), involving investors from banks and financial and investment institutions on behalf of companies and governments, with a total value of $6 billion. This recognition highlights the company’s efforts and its leading global role, as well as its outstanding performance in the sukuk sector, establishing it as the first-choice and preferred destination for investors in this important, growing, and increasingly significant field, considered one of the best financing products in global financial markets.

Mohammed Al-Hajeri, Head of Investment Banking Services at the company, and Khaled Al-Shami, Senior Vice President of Capital Markets, accepted the awards on behalf of Baitak Capital during a formal ceremony held in Dubai, attended by a select group of leaders from the financial and investment sectors.

The IFN awards are a series of prestigious honors organized by Islamic Finance News to recognize leading financial institutions and banks in the global Islamic finance sector. The awards include categories for the best Islamic banks, high-performing investment funds, asset managers, and the most prominent Sharia-compliant structured deals. Award categories include Deal Awards, Survey Awards, and Investor Awards.

This accolade underscores Baitak Capital’s advanced standing and its leading role in providing integrated and innovative investment solutions, which have made the company the most capable of offering high-value, high-quality investment opportunities tailored to the specificities of the markets in which it operates. - Kuwait Deal of the Year 2025: Second Tier (Tier II) Sukuk for International Bank of Kuwait, valued at $300 million.

The company successfully participated in leading and arranging sukuk issuances totaling over $29 billion in 2025. It also maintained its position among the top ten global sukuk arrangers, reflecting its leadership and expertise in international markets and affirming KFH Group’s excellence in managing and structuring sukuk issuances.

During 2025, Baitak Capital arranged issuances for several banks at the local and regional levels, including Boubyan Bank, International Bank of Kuwait, and two issuances for Kuwait Finance House, in addition to numerous regional issuances such as those for Ajman Bank, Al Mashreq Bank, Qatar Islamic Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Turkish Vakıf Katılım Bank, and two issuances for the Islamic Development Bank Group.

The company also served as joint lead manager and underwriting agent for several companies, including a guaranteed issuance by the Saudi government on behalf of the Saudi Real Estate Refinancing Company. Sukuk were also issued for Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Company (Abu Dhabi), as well as the first-ever sukuk issuance by a Turkish company, Turk Telekom. In the oil sector, Baitak Capital contributed to arranging issuances for several companies, most notably Saudi Aramco, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO).
