"Fire Department": Fire in an apartment in Hawally Square brought under control, no injuries

The General Fire Force announced via its X platform that fire crews from the Hawally and Salmiya central stations brought a fire under control on Saturday afternoon. The fire broke out in an apartment on the fifth floor of a building in the Hawally Square area.

The Force explained that the fire crews evacuated the building’s residents, fought the blaze, and contained it. It noted that the incident resulted in no injuries, and the site was handed over to the relevant authorities.
