Xi and Trump: Iran must fulfill its commitment not to develop nuclear weapons

China’s official Xinhua News Agency reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed, during Xi’s visit to the United States, on an eight-point consensus that includes Iran’s commitment not to develop nuclear weapons, a prohibition on any state or entity imposing fees on the transit of international waterways, a mutual reduction of tariffs worth $30 billion, and the launch of a dialogue on artificial intelligence.
