"Gulf Union": "Arab Houses 27" final on October 6

The Gulf Football Association’s Match Committee held its third meeting in Jeddah, chaired by Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Muqrin, to discuss several matters related to the second day of matches in the “Khaleeji Al-Diyar Al-Arabiya 27” tournament. The tournament is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from September 23 to October 6, 2026, featuring eight national teams competing in 15 matches.

The committee announced the date and time of the final match of the “Khaleeji Al-Diyar Al-Arabiya 27” tournament, scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Al-Inma Stadium within the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. The match is set to kick off at 9:00 p.m.

The committee also reviewed reports submitted by the match observers for the third and fourth matches of the tournament, which featured the United Arab Emirates versus Yemen, and Qatar versus Bahrain, while examining the organizational and operational notes associated with these two matches.

Prior to the start of the tournament, the Match Committee had issued the appointments of match observers from the opening day through to the semi-finals, as part of its responsibilities for monitoring the progress of the competitions and enforcing the approved regulations and organizational procedures.

The committee also approved a daily monitoring mechanism during the tournament, which includes holding daily morning meetings to review match reports, discuss organizational and operational observations, and take necessary actions in accordance with the approved rules and regulations.

Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Muqrin, head of the Match Committee at the Gulf Football Association, confirmed that the meeting discussed the reports submitted by match observers, along with several issues related to competition arrangements, national team training schedules, and the daily monitoring mechanism for match reports.

He emphasized the importance of continued coordination between the Match Committee and all relevant entities and teams throughout the tournament, ensuring the smooth running of the competitions, adherence to the approved schedules, and the precise application of regulations and organizational procedures. This point aligns with the message reaffirmed by the committee in its previous meeting before the tournament’s launch.
