The Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Receives the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in New York

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today His Excellency Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the close cooperation and humanitarian partnership between the State of Kuwait and the UNHCR were reviewed, and ways to enhance the humanitarian response and alleviate the suffering of refugees and displaced persons around the world were discussed.
