The celebration also featured a Kalari-Yoga performance by the KMS Kalari and Ayur Yoga troupe, which combined elements of the traditional Indian practices of Kalaripayattu and yoga, reflecting physical discipline, balance, and the promotion of overall well-being.
A specialized exhibition on Ayurveda and healthy lifestyles was also held, with participation from various Ayurveda-related organizations in Kuwait. The exhibition showcased Ayurvedic products, health practices, and methods for preparing healthy foods, allowing visitors to explore different aspects of Ayurveda and its applications in daily life.
The event also included healthy food stalls offering a variety of nutritious meals, underscoring the importance of a balanced and healthy diet as part of a comprehensive wellness system.
The embassy stated that the celebration of the 11th Ayurveda Day reflected the growing awareness of this system and the concept of holistic wellness in Kuwait. It also provided an opportunity to promote awareness of India’s traditional knowledge systems among various segments of society and to strengthen ties between the Indian and Kuwaiti peoples by highlighting India’s heritage in health, wellness, and preventive care.
