The Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir of the State, receives the CEO of GE Vernova in New York

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today Mr. Scott Strazik, Chief Executive Officer of the global energy company GE Vernova, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting reviewed the existing cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the global company, as well as ways to enhance partnership in developing energy projects and improving the efficiency of power generation plants. It also discussed the latest developments at the GE Technology Center in Kuwait, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. The meeting emphasized the importance of developing human capital and investing in national competencies through knowledge transfer and capacity building, thereby contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and supporting the achievement of the goals of the Kuwait Vision.
