Airbus discovers quality issue in A321neo aircraft

Airbus said on Thursday that it had identified a quality issue that could reduce corrosion resistance within the fuselage of A321neo aircraft.

Aviation news service Air Current had previously reported that the issue could affect more than 500 aircraft.

The company added that the source of the problem has been identified and contained, and a solution is available.
