Four suspects arrested for reckless driving in Al-Wehda Agricultural Area

The General Traffic Department, through the Security Supervision Directorate, apprehended four suspects who engaged in reckless and dangerous driving in the Al-Wafra Agricultural Area, endangering the safety of road users. This action followed intelligence reports of a gathering in the area intended for reckless driving and unlawful assembly.

Following search, investigation, and surveillance operations, it was determined that the suspects had concealed the vehicles used in these activities within several farms. In coordination with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Marine Resources, five vehicles were seized and the suspects were apprehended.

Necessary legal measures were taken against the suspects, who were subsequently referred to the Central Prison. The five vehicles were crushed after the completion of legal procedures, in accordance with Article 33 (Repeated) of the Traffic Law, for offenses of reckless driving, negligent operation, and endangering the safety of road users.

The General Traffic Department reaffirms that anyone who endangers lives or property will face the prescribed legal measures without leniency, and that surveillance and monitoring efforts will continue to ensure the safety of road users.
