Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Receives Irish Prime Minister in New York

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today His Excellency Mr. Michael Martin, Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of Ireland, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Ireland were discussed, along with ways to develop them in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples. The latest regional and international developments were also discussed.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mishal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; His Excellency Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Nasser Al-Saud Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United States of America; His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and His Excellency Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
