The spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, announced on Thursday the interception and destruction of six ballistic missiles fired by the Houthi terrorist militia, confirming that air defenses thwarted an attempt to target the cities of Taif and Yanbu in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Earlier today, the Saudi Civil Defense announced that the threat had been lifted over the city of Mecca and the provinces of Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, and the Tabuk region, following the activation of early warning sirens in those areas.
