Russia and Egypt Discuss Simplifying Mutual Trade Procedures

The ministry stated: “Roman Chekosov and Mohamed Fayed discussed issues related to simplifying mutual trade procedures, including the potential for using electronic document management in cross-border operations and developing new logistics routes,” according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

Chekosov noted that Russian industrial technologies are in demand abroad, including in Egypt.

The statement quoted Chekosov as saying: “We see that Russian industrial technologies are in demand in foreign countries, and in Egypt in particular. The range of sectors is very broad: mechanical engineering, helicopter manufacturing, the automotive industry, medical equipment, packaging, industrial robotics, and many others. This indicates their high competitiveness.”
