His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today His Excellency Ahmad al-Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, and the accompanying delegation, on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait. The meeting took place at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York City, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the UN General Assembly.
At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the beloved Amir of Kuwait, to His Excellency, along with best wishes for robust health and for the Syrian Arab Republic and its brotherly people, hoping for enduring peace, stability, and prosperity.
The meeting discussed the fraternal bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as ways to develop them in the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples. It also addressed key developments on the regional and international fronts.
