Mubarak Al-Sabah: We leverage the popularity of digital programs to reinforce Gulf identity

Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director General of the Joint Program Production Organization of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States (GCC), affirmed that the organization strives to ensure that GCC joint efforts are close to the youth and present in the content they watch and engage with. It leverages the popularity of digital programs to reinforce Gulf identity and highlight the achievements and shared bonds of GCC member states in an entertaining and innovative manner.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah stated that the organization collaborated with the program “Challenge 30” to produce seven special Gulf-focused episodes coinciding with the Gulf Arab Cup tournament. This initiative aligns with the organization’s strategy to utilize widely popular programs to reach Gulf youth with content that blends entertainment and knowledge while strengthening Gulf identity.
He noted that the episodes will feature sports and cultural questions, alongside questions addressing the trajectory and achievements of GCC joint efforts across various fields. The aim is to inform new generations about the bonds, identity, and shared interests uniting GCC member states, presenting these themes in a youthful, competitive style suited to the nature of the program and its audience.
He added that the collaboration with “Challenge 30” is based on the program’s popularity and extensive digital presence among the youth segment, noting that the program has garnered millions of views across GCC countries, reflecting its wide reach and ability to connect with the Gulf audience.
He clarified that the seven episodes will be broadcast via digital platforms and YouTube, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to reaching youth on the platforms where they are active and conveying the concepts of GCC joint efforts and Gulf identity through modern and engaging content.
