National: Credit cards via National Mobile

In a new step reinforcing its leadership in digital transformation, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has launched a comprehensive digital experience for obtaining credit cards through the “National Mobile Service” program. This allows customers to complete all stages of the application and issuance process with ease and speed, at any time and from anywhere.
The new service enables customers to apply for credit cards and complete and track all application procedures via the app. This includes filling out the application, uploading the required documents, undergoing credit inquiries, reviewing eligible cards, and finally reviewing the application and signing electronically, all without the need to visit a branch or submit any paper documents.
Customers can now also browse NBK’s range of credit cards and learn about the benefits and rewards associated with each, helping them choose the card that best suits their needs and lifestyle before applying. Once the card is issued, customers can add it directly to their preferred digital wallets and start using it immediately.
By digitizing all stages of the application and issuance process, NBK offers one of the fastest credit card acquisition experiences in Kuwait. By simplifying procedures and accelerating the review and approval of applications, the bank provides a smoother and more flexible experience for its customers.
In line with its commitment to rewarding customers and encouraging them to leverage innovative digital services, NBK is offering an exclusive deal for customers who apply for their first credit card with the bank through the new digital service, waiving the issuance fee.
On this occasion, Mohammed Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Personal and Digital Banking at National Bank of Kuwait Group, stated: “The launch of this comprehensive digital experience for obtaining credit cards is an extension of our vision to redefine how customers interact with banking services. By offering innovative solutions centered on their needs, we provide a faster, easier, and more efficient banking experience. This supports our leadership in digital innovation and retail banking, and aligns with their growing expectations for comprehensive and easily accessible banking services in a constantly evolving digital environment.”
