Ministry of Health hosts 7 doctors with global expertise in October

The Ministry of Health announced that it will host seven doctors with global expertise during October, as part of the “Visiting Doctors Program,” in line with its efforts to leverage specialized medical expertise and provide advanced therapeutic and surgical services to patients at several of the ministry’s hospitals.

The ministry has invited those interested in benefiting from the services of visiting doctors to review the list of doctors, their visit schedules, and to book appointments in advance through the “Seham” app and the unified government “Sahel” app.

The list of visiting doctors includes a select group of specialists in various subspecialties, including orthopedic surgery, colon and rectal surgery, urology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, burn surgery, microsurgery, and spinal endoscopy.

The visits will begin with the hosting of Dr. Jamal Ali Al-Asiri from Saudi Arabia from October 4 to 8, 2026, to perform and share expertise in foot and ankle orthopedic surgery at Al-Razi Hospital.

The Ministry of Health will also host Dr. Paris Tekis from the United Kingdom from October 10 to 13, 2026, specializing in robotic colon and rectal surgery at Jaber Hospital.

Dr. Nicholas Johannes Schater from Germany will visit Al-Razi Hospital from October 10 to 14, 2026, focusing on endoscopic orthopedic deformity surgery.

From October 11 to 15, 2026, the ministry will host Dr. Raed Rida Mustafa Abu Hussein from Germany, a specialist in spinal endoscopy, at Al-Razi Hospital.

Global medical visits will continue with the hosting of Dr. Mostafa Hamdy from Belgium from October 20 to 25, 2026, specializing in plastic and burn surgery at Al-Babtain Hospital.

From October 24 to 28, 2026, the Ministry of Health will host Dr. John Pyo Hong from South Korea, a specialist in microsurgery, plastic surgery, and lymphedema treatment, at Ibn Sina Hospital.

The list of visiting doctors for the month will conclude with the hosting of Dr. Omar Adel Rahim from the United States from October 28 to 31, 2026, specializing in urological surgery at Mubarak Hospital.
