F-16 fighter jet crashes at US air base in western Germany

The U.S. military said an F-16 fighter jet belonging to the U.S. Air Base Spangdahlem in western Germany crashed on Tuesday, adding that the pilot ejected safely and is currently receiving medical treatment.

The military stated, "The aircraft was returning to Spangdahlem Air Base after a routine training flight involving four F-16s when the incident occurred."
