Prince's Representative Meets Latvian President in New York

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the representative of His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, met today with His Excellency Edgars Rinkevics, President of the friendly Republic of Latvia, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the United Nations headquarters in New York City on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the President, along with his best wishes for the President’s good health and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Republic of Latvia and its friendly people.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Latvia were discussed, along with ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. The two sides also exchanged views on the most prominent regional and international developments.
