Graduate Studies Admits 555 Students

Acting Dean of the College of Graduate Studies at Kuwait University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mishal Al-Gharib, announced the enrollment of 555 new graduate students for the 2026-2027 academic year, comprising 513 in master’s programs and 42 in doctoral programs.

This was revealed during the College of Graduate Studies’ orientation session for new students for the 2026-2027 academic year, held yesterday under the theme “A Research Journey Toward Excellence and Innovation.” The event was sponsored by University President, Assistant Professor Dr. Dina M. Al-Milim, and attended by several academic leaders and new students.

Al-Gharib affirmed that the college is committed to enhancing the quality of its programs and fostering a stimulating academic and research environment that supports students’ academic progress and develops their capabilities, thereby contributing to Kuwait University’s strategic objectives of promoting research and knowledge production.
