Jordanian King Warns of Israeli Occupation's Expansionist Ambitions: Now a Regional Threat

Jordan’s King Abdullah II warned on Tuesday that the “expansionist ambitions” of the Israeli occupation under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have become a “regional threat,” specifically cautioning against “repeated incursions and geographic expansion” in Syria.

Speaking before the United Nations General Assembly, the Jordanian monarch stated that “the expansionist ambitions of this Israeli government have become a regional threat,” warning of “repeated incursions and geographic expansion” in Syria, where the occupation has controlled additional areas of land in the south over recent months.
