Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey condemn all attacks on the Kingdom

The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey condemned in the strongest terms all attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, including the recent Houthi attacks. They reaffirmed their steadfast support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security, as well as its inherent right to defend itself, its territory, and its people in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter. They also emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and freedom of maritime navigation.

During the meeting, the ministers exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments. They underscored the importance of continuing consultation and coordination among the four countries to support peace, security, stability, and prosperity in the Middle East and the region at large, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The ministers expressed deep concern over the ongoing tensions and hostile actions in the region, affirming that dialogue and diplomacy are the only path to achieving sustainable solutions. In this context, they stressed the necessity of adhering to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding to achieve lasting peace and stability.

The ministers reaffirmed their steadfast support for the legitimate Yemeni government and the Presidential Leadership Council, and their backing for the efforts of both to achieve security, stability, and development in Yemen through a comprehensive Yemeni-Yemeni political process and dialogue involving all parties.

Regarding the Palestinian issue, the ministers reaffirmed the centrality of the Palestinian cause to achieving peace, security, and stability in the Middle East, and their support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
