Peizeshkian's plane lands in Algeria after "technical stop"

Algerian television revealed that the Iranian president was received in the airport’s VIP hall by the Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, Saïd Saidou, and the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national diaspora, Soufiane Chaïb, according to reports by the German News Agency (DPA).

Algerian television did not disclose the departure point of the Iranian president’s aircraft or its next destination, although some sources suggested it was en route to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly.
