Macron describes talks with Trump on the Red Sea and Ukraine as "constructive"

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday that he held positive discussions with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, regarding the conflicts in Ukraine and the Red Sea.

Macron added, following a meeting with Trump in New York, “The other issue we addressed was the situation in the Red Sea... given its importance for global prices... We then had an extensive discussion on Ukraine and Russia.” He continued, “It was a very good and highly constructive discussion.”
