Qatar Investment Authority and JPMorgan Target $20 Billion Partnership

Qatar Investment Authority is moving to finalize a $20 billion investment partnership with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, encompassing investments in public and private markets, equities, and credit, according to Bloomberg.
The anticipated partnership will allocate $15 billion to a mandate for investing in listed equities, supporting the Authority’s long-term investment objectives, alongside $5 billion for an initiative in private markets focused on mid-sized U.S. companies.
The move follows an agreement the Authority reached last January with Goldman Sachs for investments totaling $25 billion, as part of the expansion of Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, which holds assets of approximately $580 billion, in its partnerships with global investment institutions.
