Crown Prince's Representative Meets Jordan's King and Crown Prince

The representative of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, may God protect and safeguard him, met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, may God protect him, today, with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan. The meeting took place at His Majesty’s residence in New York City, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, may God protect and safeguard him, to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, along with his best wishes for their good health and well-being, and for continued progress and prosperity for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its brotherly people.

The meeting also discussed the deep-rooted historical fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as ways to enhance and develop these ties in the interest of both countries and their brotherly peoples. Additionally, the latest developments on the regional and international scenes were reviewed.
