Al-Tanib: Participation in the tournament strengthens the presence of Kuwaiti sports

Kuwait’s Consul General in Jeddah and Permanent Representative to the Islamic Organization for Cooperation, Yusuf Al-Tanib, emphasized yesterday the importance of participating in the Gulf Cup football tournament (Arab Gulf Cup 27) and strengthening the presence of Kuwaiti sports in international sporting arenas.

He made these remarks during a visit to the Kuwaiti national senior football team’s camp as they trained at the auxiliary stadium of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

Al-Tanib expressed his wishes for the national team to achieve success and results befitting the stature and history of Kuwaiti football in the tournament.

He praised the preparations made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host the Gulf Cup 27 matches, commending the high level of organizational excellence and facilities provided for receiving participating teams and delegations, as well as the necessary requirements to ensure the tournament’s success.

The Consul General expressed his confidence that these efforts would contribute to the tournament’s success, given the Kingdom’s distinguished capabilities and experience in hosting and organizing major sporting events.
