Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Meets with the President of Austria

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met with His Excellency Alexander Van der Bellen, President of the Republic of Austria, at the President’s residence in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting was held on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir to the Austrian President, wishing him good health and well-being, and expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the Republic of Austria and its friendly people.

The meeting also included discussions on the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Austria, and ways to develop these relations to serve the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples. In addition, the latest regional and international developments were discussed.
