Kuwait condemns incursion into Al-Aqsa by an Israeli government minister and extremist settlers

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the incursion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque by an Israeli occupation government minister and a number of extremist settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, in a grave violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Ministry reaffirmed the State of Kuwait’s categorical rejection of all provocative practices that undermine the existing legal and historical status of Jerusalem and its holy sites, and renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities to put an end to these violations.

The Ministry also reiterated the State of Kuwait’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, foremost among which is the establishment of an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
