"Education": Enhancing the educational process and strengthening religious and educational values among teachers
Muhammad Al-Khalidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial, and Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Education, emphasized the importance of reinforcing religious and educational values and entrenching the status of the Book of Allah in the minds of those working in the educational field.
He made these remarks while attending the closing ceremony honoring teachers who won the “Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Mutawa – may God have mercy on him – Award for Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Quran” for 2026. The event was held under the patronage of Minister of Education, Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai, at the Ministry’s theater.
Speaking on behalf of Al-Tabtabai, Al-Khalidi expressed the Ministry of Education’s pride in “this distinguished group of teachers,” noting that the recognition is a testament to their efforts and excellence.
He stated that the Ministry places great importance on supporting all initiatives that contribute to improving the educational process and enhancing the status of teachers. He stressed the importance of community partnerships with institutions and entities that support the educational sector and serve the Book of Allah Almighty.
Al-Khalidi conveyed Minister Al-Tabtabai’s gratitude and appreciation to the organizers of the “Third of the Late Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Mutawa” for their sponsorship of the award, to the “Al-Mutayyizin” Foundation for its service to the Holy Quran and Islamic sciences, and to the Ministry’s Department of Technical Guidance for Islamic Education for their efforts in organizing and sustaining the award.
Al-Khalidi also congratulated the winning teachers, wishing them continued excellence and dedication in their educational mission. He prayed to Almighty God to grant the deceased His vast mercy, to protect Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, and to preserve the blessings of security and stability for the nation.
For his part, Asaad Al-Mani, Director of the Department of Technical Guidance for Islamic Education, noted that the ceremony was held to honor 48 teachers, comprising 24 male and 24 female teachers who were among the outstanding winners of the award. He added that the number of participants in the award reached approximately 2,000.
