Kuwait to Host the Global Summit of Innovative Lawyers on October 25

Dr. Khalid Al-Soufan, Secretary-General of the Kuwait Bar Association, confirmed that the Association is preparing to hold the Second Kuwaiti Advocacy Conference under the slogan “Global Summit of Innovative Lawyers” on Sunday, October 25, at the Courtyard by Marriott – Al-Raya Hall. The event is set to become the largest legal conference of its kind, featuring extensive international participation and specialized legal and technological expertise.

In a press statement issued today, Al-Soufan explained that the conference aligns with the Association’s vision to develop the legal profession and keep pace with the rapid global transformations in the legal sector, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, legal technology, digital justice, electronic arbitration, cybersecurity, and the development of legal research and drafting tools.

He added that the coming phase requires preparing lawyers who can effectively utilize future-oriented tools and leverage technology, while safeguarding the independence of the profession, its ethical standards, and the confidentiality of the attorney-client relationship. He noted that the conference will bring together participants from more than 50 countries.

Al-Soufan stated: “We aim to position the Kuwaiti Advocacy Conference as an international platform launching from Kuwait to discuss and shape the future of the profession, amid the accelerating global transformation in legal work tools, litigation methods, and legal services.”
