Russians in Kuwait cast their votes in the Duma elections

The Russian Embassy in Kuwait announced in a statement that voting in the elections for deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly took place yesterday at polling station No. 8178 at the embassy’s premises in Kuwait, with the participation of approximately 150 Russian citizens residing and working in the country.

The embassy stated in its statement that Russian Ambassador to Kuwait, Vladimir Giltov, was among the first to cast his vote in the elections, which witnessed a notable turnout from members of the Russian community in Kuwait.

The embassy affirmed that the participation of Russian citizens in the voting reflected their attachment to their ties with their homeland and their commitment to exercising their civil rights, as well as their sense of responsibility toward participating in the electoral process.
