KCST participates in the closing of the first edition of the "Athar" training program

The Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) participated in the closing ceremony of the first edition of the "Athar" training program, organized by the Investment Companies Association. The event was held last Tuesday at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs.

The program, which spanned six weeks, selected 25 students from a pool of 127 applicants representing five universities in Kuwait. The initiative aimed to provide students with practical experience and a close-up understanding of the investment and financial sectors.

KCST was represented in the program by two students who successfully passed the screening and selection stages. They benefited from a hands-on training experience that helped develop their professional skills and enhance their expertise in the workplace environment.

KCST’s participation in the "Athar" program underscores the college’s commitment to bridging academic education with practical experience and strengthening its partnerships with labor market sectors, thereby supporting students’ readiness for their professional careers.

The college commended the Investment Companies Association’s initiative, congratulated its students on successfully completing the program, and expressed its anticipation of continuing collaboration on future initiatives that support youth and develop their professional skills.
