Qatar Sports Investments, owner of Paris Saint-Germain, acquires Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven

Qatar Sports Investments, the owner of French club Paris Saint-Germain, the current UEFA Champions League title holder, confirmed its acquisition of Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven (OHL) after several months of managing the second-division team.

In a statement on Thursday, the Qatari company said, “Qatar Sports Investments is pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of Oud-Heverlee Leuven. This makes Qatar Sports Investments the full owner of the club, following its acquisition of the club’s sporting operations in December 2025.”

Qatari investors acquired a majority stake in Paris Saint-Germain in 2011 and have held a minority stake in Portuguese club Braga since 2022.

Since the acquisition of Paris Saint-Germain, the French club has won 12 of its 14 league titles and holds the UEFA Champions League title for the last two seasons.

Oud-Heverlee Leuven was relegated to the Belgian second division in May 2024 after eight seasons in the top flight.
