Pakistan: We stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia in defending its sovereignty and the security of the Two Holy Mosques

The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday that Islamabad stands “united and side by side” with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in defending its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the security of the Two Holy Mosques.

In a press conference, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sajjad Khan stated that the country is closely monitoring developments in the Middle East amid the ongoing attacks by the Houthi militia.

Khan noted that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attempt to target Makkah Al-Mukarramah with a drone launched by the Houthi militia, which targeted civilians, civilian facilities, and Islamic holy sites in Saudi Arabia.
