Lubetegi finalizes Qatar's squad

Qatar national team coach, Spain’s Julen Lopetegui, has selected a 26-man squad to participate in the Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 27).

The players chosen are: Mishaal Barsham, Mahmoud Abounadi, Salah Zakaria, Pedro Miguel, Issa Lay, Ayoub Al-Alawi, Boualem Khoukhi, Sultan Al-Briq, Tariq Salman, Naif Al-Hadrami, Hashim Ali, Hamam Al-Amin, Yusuf Abdulrazzaq, Hassan Al-Haidos, Akram Afif, Jasim Jaber, Abdulaziz Hatim, Karim Bouzid, Ahmed Fathi, Aseem Madbou, Mohammed Muneer, Almoez Ali, Ahmed Al-Ali, Edmilson Junior, Tahseen Mohammed, and Ahmed Al-Janhawi.

Among the most notable players omitted from the squad are Mohammed Montari, Yusuf Abdulrazzaq, and Lucas Mendes.
