Russia launches wide-scale missile attack on Kyiv

Russia resumed its ballistic missile attacks on Ukraine after a pause of several nights, with the capital, Kyiv, coming under shelling early Thursday morning.
According to channels on the Telegram app linked to the Ukrainian military, up to six modified “Zircon” anti-ship missiles were launched at Kyiv. A Deutsche Welle (DW) correspondent heard several loud explosions in the city.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitscko reported damage to an administrative building and a residential building, as well as other sites. He initially provided no information on potential casualties.
Media reports indicated that water supplies were disrupted in some areas on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, stated that several Russian airports had to impose temporary restrictions on their operations.
