The Director General of the Joint Program Production Organization of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, met on the sidelines of the 24th Arab Media Summit in Dubai with H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al-Hamadi, Chairman of the National Media Council of the United Arab Emirates, and H.E. Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Information of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meetings, the key activities, programs, and future projects of the Joint Program Production Organization were reviewed. The parties also discussed ways to enhance Gulf media cooperation and coordination, expand areas of partnership, and exchange expertise, all of which contribute to supporting the development of the Gulf content industry and strengthening its presence at both the regional and international levels.

Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah affirmed that strengthening partnerships among Gulf media institutions embodies the spirit of integration and joint Gulf efforts, and supports the organization’s initiatives to develop its production and expand the scope of its presence and partnerships. He noted that the organization’s participation in the Arab Media Summit, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, reflects the organization’s commitment to an active presence in major Gulf and Arab media events and to leveraging platforms that bring together leaders, decision-makers, and media professionals to discuss the future of the media and content industries.

Al-Sabah praised the summit’s standing and its role as an important platform for dialogue and the exchange of ideas and expertise. He extended his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates, the Dubai Media Council, and the Dubai Press Club for their excellent organization and efforts in ensuring the success of this media event, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings in enhancing cooperation and integration among Gulf and Arab media institutions.
