"The Guard": Leveraging military expertise to enhance our capabilities

The National Guard’s Undersecretary, Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Burjis, affirmed the commitment to enhancing cooperation, exchanging expertise, and leveraging military and academic experience to develop the capabilities of personnel and elevate performance standards.

This was stated in a press release issued by the National Guard today, during a meeting in which Lieutenant General Al-Burjis received a delegation from the “Rawaq” Center for Political and Strategic Consultations at his office in the General Headquarters of the National Guard. The meeting was attended by Major General Abdullah Saleh, Commander of Military and Security Affairs.

The statement added that the delegation included former Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, retired Field Marshal Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Khadir; former Deputy Chief of Operations of the Army, retired Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Kandari; and Dr. Istiqlal Al-Azami, Professor of Political Science.

It noted that, as part of the visit, the guests participated in a discussion forum on regional conditions and developments, organized by the Leadership Development Center at the National Guard Forces Training Institute, with the aim of enhancing awareness of regional changes and their implications, and benefiting from specialized expertise in this field.
