Abdullah Al-Salem University: Empowering Students for a Successful Academic Start

Abdullah Al-Salem University has affirmed its commitment to establishing a comprehensive university experience for its students, empowering them with the knowledge and tools necessary for a successful academic start. The university noted that the introductory sessions it organized aimed to familiarize new students with the university, its academic system, and the available services and activities.

This statement was issued as the university concluded the introductory sessions for its new students for the 2026/2027 academic year. These sessions were recently held on the university campus for the Colleges of Medicine, Health Sciences, Engineering and Energy, Systems and Computer Engineering, and Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.

In a press release, the university stated that these sessions help facilitate students' transition to university life and enhance their integration into the academic environment from the first weeks of the new academic year.

The university explained that the sessions included presentations delivered by the Office of Student Affairs, which outlined student services, activities, programs, and academic and counseling support mechanisms. Additionally, a presentation by the Digitalization Department covered the digital systems and platforms provided by the university to students and how to utilize them to manage their academic journeys. A further presentation by the Support Operations Department addressed auxiliary student services, including university identification, shuttle buses, medical clinics, and food services.
