"Fire Department": 23 facilities in Al-Ahmadi closed for violating regulations

The General Fire and Rescue Department announced on Tuesday that it had issued administrative closure warnings and notices to 201 establishments and shops, and closed 23 establishments and shops, due to their failure to meet the approved fire safety and prevention requirements.

In a press statement, the Fire Department said that these actions were taken during an inspection campaign conducted in Al-Ahmadí Governorate, covering the Al-Fahaheel Industrial Area and the East Al-Ahmadí Industrial Area, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor compliance of buildings and establishments with fire safety and prevention requirements.

The Department affirmed that its inspection campaigns will continue across various governorates to enhance compliance with safety requirements and mitigate risks, in order to protect lives and property.
