Palestinian Ambassador: Kuwait is one of the most supportive countries to our people

The Kuwaiti ambassador to Palestine, Rami Tahboub, affirmed that Kuwait has been and remains one of the most supportive and close countries to the Palestinian people, and that its humanitarian stance reflects the depth of the fraternal and historical ties uniting the two countries and their peoples.
Tahboub told KUNA after his visit to the Kuwait Red Crescent Society that the high-level directives have contributed to the continuity of Kuwaiti support in all its forms, particularly in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the Palestinian people. He noted that the support provided by Kuwait since the beginning of the Israeli aggression is difficult to quantify due to the scale of initiatives, aid, and implemented projects.
He added that Kuwait has provided substantial material and humanitarian support to the Palestinian people since the start of the aggression and continues to do so, emphasizing that this position embodies the authenticity of the Kuwaiti people and the commitment of the political leadership and government to stand by their Palestinian brothers in all circumstances.
He clarified that his visit to the society comes within the framework of continuous coordination to discuss various forms of support and humanitarian projects in Palestine, praising the strong bonds between the Kuwait Red Crescent and its Palestinian counterpart, as well as the level of communication between the two sides, which contributes to responding to humanitarian needs and alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people.
For his part, Khaled Al-Mughams, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Crescent, affirmed that the Palestinian cause holds a firm place in the hearts of Kuwait and its people. He noted that the society continues to fulfill its humanitarian role in supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating the suffering of those affected, in line with the humanitarian principles underpinning its mission.
