Kuwait: Uniting Gulf Efforts to Enhance Integrity and Combat Corruption

Nizaha stated in a press release today that Al-Daihani, in his speech, praised the Gulf efforts to strengthen the integrity system and combat corruption, at a time when international requirements are intensifying to consolidate integrity values and enhance supervisory frameworks. He emphasized the commitment to cooperation with Gulf countries and their key initiatives within the framework of the Ministerial Committee on Combating Corruption.

The meeting discussed the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries’ competition for research and studies in the fields of integrity protection and anti-corruption for 2026, titled “Combating Corruption through Non-Judicial Means: Theoretical Approaches and Practical Experiences,” and reviewed the results of the evaluation of research submissions by reviewers appointed from GCC member states.

Additionally, the meeting discussed organizing a workshop titled “Mechanisms for Enhancing Integrity and Compliance in the Private Sector,” as well as the recommendations of the Gulf workshop held last July, titled “Combating Corruption and Identifying Beneficial Ownership in the GCC Countries,” which was organized by Nizaha in coordination with the General Secretariat.
