Ministry of Health Opens Registration for Joining the Medical Services Team of the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission

The Ministry of Health confirmed in a press statement that participation as part of the team represents a professional and national responsibility, as well as an opportunity to contribute to serving the pilgrims of the State of Kuwait and providing healthcare services that reflect the competence of national cadres and the distinguished image of the State of Kuwait.

It noted that the registration conditions require applicants to be Kuwaiti nationals and to possess good physical and health fitness, with priority given to cadres who have not previously participated in Kuwait’s medical Hajj missions.

It stated that a necessary condition for doctors is that the applicant holds a job title of at least “Senior Registrar” in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Practice, and must be actively engaged in clinical practice, not having been part of the administrative or supervisory structure for at least two consecutive years as of the application date.

Regarding nursing, it clarified that candidates must hold an academic qualification of at least a diploma in nursing, with no less than five years of practical experience in intensive care units, cardiac care, emergency departments, internal medicine, or surgery.

It pointed out the conditions for applicants in the field of emergency medical technicians, requiring at least five years of practical experience and holding the classification of “Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.” For pharmacists, the required experience must be at least two years.
