Sabah Asad participates in the 13th Art and Beauty Forum

Artist Sabah Asad is participating in the 13th Art and Beauty Forum, hosted by the city of Aqaba, Jordan, from October 28 to November 2 next year. He will present a live performance showcasing the intricate and rare art of sculpture and engraving on eggshells, a discipline in which he was among the first artists to contribute to its presentation and dissemination across the Arab Gulf region, starting from Kuwait.

Asad explained that his participation in the forum stems from the widespread interest and attention his artistic works have garnered, as well as the presence of a large segment of art enthusiasts in Jordan eager to view these pieces up close and directly observe the execution stages and precise techniques required by this art form.

He added that his presence at this international artistic forum reflects the Kuwaiti artist’s commitment to attending and participating in Arab cultural and artistic events, opening new avenues for engagement with fellow artists and the public, thereby contributing to strengthening the presence of Kuwaiti art and promoting its experience beyond Kuwait.

He noted that presenting the work directly before an audience offers viewers a unique opportunity to discover the precision and stages of this art form, bridging the gap between the artist and the public. He expressed his pride that this participation serves as a platform to showcase an aspect of Kuwaiti cultural and artistic identity.
