Capital Security conducts an extensive campaign covering various areas of the governorate

The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday the apprehension of 201 individuals, including offenders and wanted persons, during a broad security campaign carried out by the Directorate of Security Affairs, represented by the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, across several areas of the governorate.
In a press statement, the Ministry said the campaign was conducted in cooperation and coordination with the Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, resulting in the apprehension of 187 individuals in criminal cases, absconding, and violations of the residency and labor laws.
It noted that the campaign also led to the apprehension of three street vendors, four individuals whose visas had expired, one person in an abnormal condition, two individuals involved in begging cases, and four individuals lacking identification documents.
The Ministry added that 445 traffic violations were recorded and 23 wanted vehicles were seized for judicial impoundment, along with the impoundment of ten motorcycles at the traffic depot. Additionally, 19 abandoned vehicles were removed in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality, and a restaurant was shut down in coordination with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.
