Public Security Arrests 201 Illegal Residents and Wanted Persons in the Capital

The Directorate of Security Directorates Affairs, represented by the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, carried out an extensive security campaign covering several areas of the governorate, in cooperation and coordination with the Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition. The operation resulted in the arrest of several wanted individuals and law violators, the impoundment of several vehicles, and the issuance of traffic violations.
A detailed statistical report indicated the arrest of 187 individuals in criminal cases, absconding cases, and violations of the Residency and Labor Law, as well as wanted persons. Additionally, 23 individuals were apprehended under judicial detention orders, and 10 motorcycles were impounded at the traffic garage. The operation also led to the arrest of three street vendors, four individuals whose visas had expired, one person found in an abnormal condition, two individuals involved in begging cases, and four individuals lacking final identification documents. Furthermore, 445 traffic violations were issued, 19 abandoned vehicles were removed in coordination with the Kuwait Municipality, and one restaurant was shut down in collaboration with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.
