National Guard Selects 47 High School Graduates for Officer Cadet Course

National Guard Deputy Commander Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Burjiss emphasized in a press statement the Guard’s leadership commitment to applying the foundational principles and standards that ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all applicants.

Lieutenant General Al-Burjiss clarified that the lottery was conducted publicly and broadcast via the National Guard’s official Instagram account, underscoring its approach to reinforcing transparency and equality among applicants. He wished the selected candidates success and achievement, encouraging them to continue, alongside their fellow National Guard members, the mission of defending the nation upon graduation from the course.

The statement noted that the selection of applicants was based on the vacancies available for admission to the National Guard during the current year. It added that the selected candidates would be enrolled in the Ali Al-Sabah Military College and the King Khalid Military College in the friendly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College in the friendly State of Qatar, and the Gendarmerie Academy in the friendly Republic of Turkey.
