A tribute of appreciation to the Ministry of Information and the staff of Kuwait Television

Why do we condemn our successes and fail to acknowledge those who excelled in their work? Based on this premise, I record a statement of truth that must be remembered and commend the entity that deserves it, for what Kuwait Television offers in keeping pace with the international media and civilizational vanguard.

Who said that the media field has not developed, or that the quality of discourse in the 1970s was better? An observer of the media landscape finds it among the best discourses globally, especially when compared to satellite channels. I have not seen any other channel match the remarkable message carried by Kuwait Television, which others have failed to emulate, for the following reasons:

First: Preserving the authentic Kuwaiti identity, through the vast number of programs dedicated to Kuwait’s history and heritage at all levels and branches.

Second: Breaking the barrier of monotony and creating suspense and enjoyment, through the abundance, diversity, and brevity of programs, ensuring they are not tedious, with topics covering general life requirements.

Third: Disseminating awareness messages that educate society on various issues, such as traffic safety, energy conservation, cleanliness, drug abuse, street behavior, and the enforcement of public ethics, among others, through well-produced, short awareness clips with refined direction, concepts, and scripts.

Fourth: Presenting a clear religious message and maintaining a religious discourse grounded in the Quran and the Sunnah, through high-quality programs offering religious knowledge and culture, and by selecting qualified scholars and preachers.

Fifth: Providing media exposure opportunities for all Kuwaitis, especially youth and those at the beginning of their careers, through personal interviews and discussions of their achievements.

Sixth: The high artistic level of news anchors, in terms of language quality, performance, and overall appearance, as well as their excellent political acumen, which is reflected in their interviews with news program guests.
