Pakistan: Army Chief Discusses with Iran Preventing Further Escalation and Opening the Strait of Hormuz

The Pakistani military announced on Tuesday that Pakistan and Iran exchanged views on regional peace during a visit by Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to Iran.
According to a press release issued by the Pakistani military’s media wing, Munir and Naqvi concluded their one-day visit as part of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to resolve the current crisis, explore ways to achieve lasting peace, and permanently end instability in the region.
