“Al-Khalij” Launches “Back to School” Campaign

Gulf Bank announced the launch of its “Back to School and University” campaign for the new academic year, combining student activities, financial literacy initiatives, and support for children from low-income families, as students return to in-person learning after a prolonged period of remote education due to geopolitical developments.

The campaign includes a series of recreational and artistic events, such as workshops for coloring and decorating school supplies, along with competitions and valuable prizes on social media platforms, aiming to facilitate students’ integration and motivate them at the start of the academic year.

The initiative kicked off in collaboration with Fun Tiki Center at 360 Mall, where Gulf Bank organized an event for children featuring workshops on “decorating school supplies,” “painting,” “cutting and pasting,” and “science shows,” with the participation of the neo Kids mascot.

As part of its ongoing strategic partnership with Kuwait Achieve, the bank plans to organize field visits to several schools to introduce students to the importance of saving and to enhance financial awareness and literacy. This is complemented by various programs offered by Kuwait Achieve and supported by the bank, which include training and entrepreneurial initiatives aimed at preparing students for the labor market and strengthening their leadership skills.

The bank will also participate in several university fairs and exhibitions dedicated to welcoming new students, showcasing its banking services and products specifically designed for youth, such as the red account and the red plus card.

As part of its continuous efforts to support the national “Be Aware” campaign, Gulf Bank’s team will deliver financial literacy lectures targeting students, encouraging them to save and raising awareness about the risks of financial fraud, thereby fostering financial awareness from an early age.

In addition, the bank is collaborating with the Red Crescent Society and the “Basata” initiative to distribute school bags and contribute to covering school expenses for children from low-income families, reflecting its commitment to supporting the most vulnerable segments of society. Furthermore, the bank will produce a series of awareness videos aimed at psychologically preparing children for the return to school, ensuring a healthy and balanced start to the academic year.

The “Back to School and University” campaign is part of a series of community initiatives implemented by the bank throughout the year, including support for education, promotion of sustainability, and participation in social activities that serve various segments of society.

Gulf Bank places great emphasis on empowering youth through its training programs and entrepreneurial initiatives carried out in partnership with its strategic partners. These efforts were recently recognized when the bank won the “Best Product for Generation Z” award at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026, in recognition of its youth-oriented banking services.
